Woodturner's Travelling Mug

A wood-turned, insulated travel mug makes an excellent gift or just a nice way to enjoy your morning brew in the workshop. This themos style mug has a stainless steel inner mug with a stainless steel and plastic lid. All the woodturner has to do is custom shape the timber mugs surround to the desired shape. Fixing the stainless steel inner to the timber surround is as easy as shaping the timber to fit under the S/S lip of the mug then using silicon sealant or epoxy resin to join the two together. One solid section of timber can be used or more complex methods can be applied like staving or segmenting, even a handle can be added.
